"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer" – Matthew 21:22
As a Christian organisation, we are firm believers in the power of prayer. We work tirelessly day in day out to right the injustices which plague children round the world. But we know that our best efforts are nothing without God behind us.
We have a loving Father who loves to hear our prayers. Jesus spoke many times on the subject of prayer. Our Father is good and loves to give good gifts to His children, we have only to ask and it will be given to us. Jesus taught in the parable of the persistent widow how her persistence brings about justice even from an unjust judge, so won’t our just God bring about justice for those who cry out to Him day and night?
For this reason, we meet every week in the office to pray out to God, praying for the children in our projects and those who are yet to be rescued from injustice, praying that God would strengthen us and enable us to rescue many more.
Please join us in praying for these children. Our bi-monthly prayer diary can be used as a guide to your own personal prayers, the prayers of your small group or those of your church. Each month has a specific project or country focus with information on the current situation and a number of different prayer pointers.
