We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Edward-Few as our Chief Executive.

He will lead our campaign to reach more vulnerable children across the world, stepping up our campaigning on international rights issues for children and building on established projects in Haiti, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, India and Brazil.

Nigel comes to Jubilee Action with over 20 years of experience in the third sector, the last eight of which were as CEO of BibleLands, working with disadvantaged and disabled children in the Middle East. He is also a Trustee of Action around Bethlehem Children with Disability and was, until recently, Chair of Rediscovering Palestine, an umbrella organisation campaigning for and working with disadvantaged communities in the West Bank and Gaza. He previously had a successful 20 year career in industry and commerce.

Speaking of his appointment, Mr Edward-Few said:

"I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Jubilee Action at this critical time. Since working with Action Aid in the mid 1970s, my passion has been the welfare and protection of children across the world and closer to home; helping those children who cannot fight for justice for themselves to escape from suffering, injustice, abuse, and prejudice; many of whom experience the added burdens of disability and poverty.

"My vision and dream has been to change the lives of those children and give them new hope for the future. Jubilee Action will do this by vigorously campaigning on the injustices that these children face, and funding and supporting partners on the ground to save and transform lives. These children need us to both speak out for them and to give them the environment and the resources they need to transform their lives."
