Length 150cm - 210cm price Price: £6	Unique hand-made jewellery Each necklace is painstakingly made from varnished recycled paper by young single mothers in Patongo, northern Uganda. These young mothers were all abducted as children by the Lord's Resistance Army, who kept them as child soldiers and sex slaves. By buying these necklaces, you will not only encourage these girls and young women, but will be supporting former child soldeirs like them and protecting other vulnerable children around the world. Price: £7	Solace Gospel Choir: Songs of Solace Jubilee Action is proud to present to you Solace Gospel Choir's debut album "Songs of Solace". The CD contains 11 tracks of uplifting and moving harmonies from a truly stunning array of voices. Listen to a sample track from their CD here >> This extraordinary choir are mostly orphans who have survived the Rwandan genocide and lost many, if not all, family members, having lived through unimaginably traumatic experiences. Music has been an integral part of the choir's healing process and allows them to comfort others through their music. We have worked for a number of years with Solace in supporting orphans of the genocide in Rwanda. Half of the profits raised will go directly to Solace's fantastic work with these vulnerable young people. The remaining profits will feed back into Rafiki records - Rwanda's first ethically conscious music label so they can support music from those in similar situations to the Solace Gospel Choir.
