About Us |
| Every 30 seconds a child is trafficked into abuse and violence.* |
| Jubilee Action is an international Christian charity working to rescue and protect children, of all faiths, races and cultures, facing the most serious injustices: those who are held in prison, subject to trafficking, victims of prostitution, recruited as child soldiers or living as street children. |
| Our aim is to end the cycle of abuse by helping children in three ways: rescuing them from immediate risk; offering rehabilitation and support; providing the skills, tools and education they need to realise a new vision for their lives. |
| We seek to address need and highlight causes that are too often overlooked by the international community and the media. |
| These aims take us to countries across the world: from Asia to Africa and from Eastern Europe to South America. |
What We DoJubilee Action funds and advises expert partners working on the ground to help the world's most vulnerable children. Their projects reach children who would otherwise be forgotten - those who have slipped under the radar of public notice. Our grassroots experience also provides with the facts, first-hand evidence and expertise to campaign on behalf of the children we are working to protect. Our aim is to persuade the UK government and the international community to take effective action to hold to account countries which violate children's rights. We do this by campaigning in the media, organising influential events and debates, issuing research and briefing politicians and opinion formers at a UK, EU and UN level. |
