Criteria For Funding
How We WorkJubilee Action is an international Christian charity working to rescue and protect children, of all faiths, races and cultures, facing the most serious injustices: those who are held in prison, subject to trafficking, victims of prostitution, recruited as child soldiers or living as street children. Jubilee Action advises and funds partners working on the ground. These local partners are always experts in their own communities and often run new projects with significant potential - those able to make a little go a long way. We aim to provide seed-funding to enable them to become independent for the long term. |
Applying for FundingPhase One - Small Grants Scheme Organisations who have not previously worked with Jubilee Action are only eligible to apply for the Small Grants Scheme, which has a maximum budget of £5,000. All organisations applying for support must meet our twelve essential funding criteria. Phase one applicants should fill out our prequalification questionnaire, which tests eligibility against these measures. Download our Project Identification Questionnaire >> Our prequalification questionnaire is assessed by senior staff members every quarter at these intervals: February, May, August and November. Phase Two - Further Funding Following a successful partnership through the Small Grants Scheme, organisations who meet our essential criteria will be informed in writing and invited to fill in a submission to assess suitability according to our twelve preferred criteria. Download our Project Proposal >> Download our Project Budget Template >> Phase two submissions will be assessed initially by senior staff members who will make recommendations to the board of trustees twice a year in January and August. Final selection is then based on compatability with all our measures and values. Applicants will be contacted in writing within four weeks of a decision. |
